Our lab is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive space for learning and research. We welcome applications from individuals belonging to groups that have been historically or are currently excluded from science. If you’re curious about pursuing graduate studies in EEB but aren’t sure where to start, I recommend checking out this paper.

Graduate student opportunities

I am currently recruiting PhD students for fully funded positions starting in Fall 2026. If you are interested in joining the lab as a graduate student, please reach out to me by filling out this google form or via email. In your email, please include a short statement explaining your research interests, your unofficial transcripts, and a CV.

Graduate students will have to apply and be accepted into the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) graduate program at the University of Toronto. For information on applying to EEB and details about funding, please visit the EEB website here: https://eeb.utoronto.ca/education/graduate/graduate-finances/.

Postdoc opportunities

I’m always happy to hear from prospective postdocs. If you’re interested in doing a postdoc in the lab, please email me with an overview of your research background and interests, potential project ideas, and your CV. Please outline any postdoctoral funding for which you are eligible (e.g., NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship, Banting, Liber Ero).
